Kidz Bop 21 A couple weeks ago I had been driving somewhere with the kids in a car, and wound up hearing the local pop music radio station. Ethan heartily endorsed this decision, as he gets fed up with listening to NPR all the time. Soon he was bouncing in the car seat... after which I realized what the song's lyrics were saying and had to quickly switch the station. Ethan was not happy with this decision and kept begging me to show it back. Given that he has started trying to sing together with all the songs he hears, I didn't think it had been smart to surrender and turn the station back.
Kidz Bop 21Which is why we were all really happy when I got a copy of the newest Kidz Bop CD, Kidz Bop 21. Kidz Bop features the large hit songs during the day, sung for children, by kids, with inappropriate lyrics substituted for ones that parents don't need to be worried about.
Kidz Bop 21We have been fortunate enough to review a lot of truly great kids' music over the past few years, but it was nice to possess a bit of a change. From the moment I pressed play on the CD player, the kids were dancing and running around the living room. Dance party in my family room! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of music and singing and honestly couldn't tell much difference from the way the songs sound on the radio (without the questionable lyrics). Songs covered about this CD include Party Rock Anthem, You Make Me Feel..., You, Moves Like Jagger, and many more. All in most, this is a fun CD to hear and dance to, and I know it's going to help get us through these long winter days!
